The week of crazy

It all began with a sore throat and clogged head. That was the good part...

Things quickly declined from there. I am officially tired of being sick. After a week of battling to breathe and stay conscious for more than an hour at a time, I started to feel better. Then the sinus headaches and coughing began. I decided that infection had probably set in and decided to go to the doctor. Sinus, ear, and bronchial infections all rolled into one lovely package! During my brief moments of being awake, I took Tater to school. Only, for some reason, this week he decided he didn't like school at all. The same child that practically weeps when it's time to leave regressed to hanging onto my pant leg so that I wouldn't leave the room. I thought it was a one time fluke. Maybe he didn't get enough sleep or something. Then yesterday the same thing happened. He got very angry at me when I told him I had to leave. It was actually kinda flattering. So much so that I yanked out my phone and snapped a picture of his "angry" face.

Moments later, the most awesome teacher in the universe is helping me make my escape by distracting him with playdough. I find out later that the playdough was not as effective as she had hoped but he soon calmed down anyways.

The house is a mess. So much so that I am at a loss where to start. I'm still feeling the effects of the numerous infections and not feeling so hot. However, the house, laundry, and of course Tater need some major attention and since it's Friday, Daddy Mc is unable to assist this time. There's only so much entertaining of a 3 year old that you can do in bed. The books aren't holding his interest. Of course it could be that Mommy's constant nose blowing is dampering the story just a hair.

Time to make a list and start checking it off. This is going to be a huge list.
