Holidays with the Mcs

As you can probably tell, this year has been a bit hectic, especially the last part of the year. Christmas went off without a hitch and so did New Year's. We are truly grateful for that!

Christmas dinner was cooked on my new stove (compliments of Nana, Papa, and Bybee) and came out wonderful! Gee, I guess with the new stove, Mommy Mc will have to do more *gulp* cooking! Okay, so I've already made at least 5 dozen chocolate chip cookies with it, several batches of brownies, muffins, and other such things in my HUGE oven. I know what your thinking...where's the healthy stuff? That just happens to be what will be cooked in it now. Chocolate is healthy, right?

Booga and Tater were obviously good boys again this year because Santa Claus blessed them with everything they asked for. Luckily, they didn't ask for much. They have definitely learned that getting less is sometimes more. Besides, the true meaning of Christmas is spending it with family and friends. We had plenty of that this year!

Bybee got to come up and spend some much needed time with the boys. We even had time to throw on our snowsuits and have a snowball fight! I gotta tell you, seeing a 77 yr old woman whoop the tar out of the rest of us is a hoot and a half! She is quite the snow bunny!

It's probably a good thing that Bybee doesn't have internet access or else Mommy Mc would probably get her butt whooped for real for posting these pictures! But how could I resist showing pictures of a woman who is so happy? I mean, this kind of smile only comes around once in a great while! It's only right to show it off, right?

Then, of course, we have the cute "Tater and his new hat" picture! Ain't he just sweet? He loves this hat and insists on wearing it all the time even though it causes him to sweat while he's inside. We even have to hide it while he is sleeping. He's definitely a hat sorta guy!

We have had a wonderful year and hope all of you have a wonderful, exciting, fun-filled 2008!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
